原级比较级和最高级，是表示事物的差别的。你是个好人，youareagoodman.你比他好一些，youarebetterthanhim.你是这个房间里最好的人，youarethebestmaninthisroom.平时我们都说原级，当产生了两个比较的时候，更好或更坏的就用比较级，当产生很多比较时候，最好或最坏那个就用最高级。当然这里的好/坏只是一个例子，你可以是高/矮，胖/瘦，轻/重，总之是形容词。
比较级加more的口诀？
比较级前用个be,比较级后用个比(than)。
原级变成比较级,er结尾要牢记；
一般情况直接加,单辅重闭双写加；
辅音加y变i加,以e结尾去e加；少数部分双音节,规则如同单音词。
其余双音多音节,词前加more就可以；不规则词没几个,它们需要特殊记。
比较级前面的修饰:
1）a bit,a little,rather,much,far,by far,many,a lot,lots,a great deal,any,still,even等
2）还可以用表示倍数的词或度量名词作修饰语.
3）以上词（除by far）外,必须置于比较级形容词或副词的前面.many,old 和far

形容词最高级前通常必须用定冠词 the,副词最高级前可不用.
形容词most前面没有the,不表示最高级的含义,只表示“非常”.It is a most important problem.

注意：使用最高级要注意将主语包括在比较范围内.
（错）Tom is the tallest of his three brothers.
（对）Tom is the tallest of the three brothers.

可修饰最高级,但位置与much不同.

b.序数词通常只修饰最高级.

3）句型转换：
Mike is the most intelligent in his class.

4）“否定词语 比较级”,“否定词语 so… as”结构表示最高级含义.Nothing is so easy as this.
