interesting前面用a还是an？
是an，interesting是一个形容词，中文意思是有趣的。英语中有两个冠词，一个是a另一个是an，当冠词所修饰的单词的第一个字母是元音字母（a、e、i、o、u）时，用冠词an，其余用a。如：我昨天读了一本有趣的书。正确的英语表达应该是这样的：I read an interesting book yesterday.
interesting和interested区别？
这两者是英语里面很容易混淆的两个英语单词，其实两者还是有很大区别的:
一.意思上不同
虽然两者都是形容词，但是两者的意思还是有出入的。
interesting的意思是有趣的，因人入胜
interested的意思是感兴趣的，有利害关系的
2.用法上不同
interesting一般是指物的，是说某物很有趣，能引起人的兴趣之类的用法，一般在句子里充当定语表语以及宾语补足语
而interested一般是指人的感受，尝尝在句子里以表语的形式出现
the man is interesting 还是 interested？
the man is interesting 是对的，虽然语法上讲interested 是用来修饰人的．是对于人来说的； interesting是用来修饰物的．是对于物来说的。不过ing不一定全是修饰物的，ed也不是全是修饰人的，你要看句子中的翻译是怎么样的，如果句子翻译为“令人感到…”用ing形式，如果句子翻译为“感到…”就用ed形式。而the man is interesting.的意思是：他是令人感到有趣的，所以是对的。
